Items are auctioned in numerical order, as they appear in the Premier Collcet auction catalog. The auctioneer will accept bids from those present in the salesroom or absentee bidders participating by telephone, internet, or by written bid left with PCA in advance of the auction. The auctioneer may also execute bids on behalf of the consignor to protect the reserve, either by entering bids in response to salesroom, telephone or absentee bids. Under no circumstance will the auctioneer place any bid on behalf of the consignor above the reserve. The auctioneer will not specifically identify bids placed on behalf of the consignor to protect the reserve. Bidding increments are determined by the auctioneer.
Important Bidding Facts
- You do not need to attend the live auction event in San Diego in order to bid on any of the PCA auctions - Like eBay, you are not penalized for placing a high maximum bid. The bids placed on this auction are only increased from the starting price when two or more bidders are bidding against one another. Absentee Bidding Options
Premier Collectible Auctions will enter absentee bids on behalf of those who are unable to attend the live auction event. Absentee bids can be submitted by internet, telephone, fax, and/or postal mail no later than July 18, 2008 (unless otherwise stated). When placing an absentee bid, bidders are asked to enter their "Maximum Bid". Like eBay, a bidder's maximum bid is not necessarily the price the bidder will pay even if ruled the winning bidder. PCA will place bids on behalf of absentee bidders according to the bid increments as defined by Premier Collectible Auctions or the live auction event auctioneer. Once auction bidding exceeds a bidder's maximum bid, that bidder will no longer be eligible to win that auction unless the bidder has arranged to raise his or her maximum bid at the live auction event. If no one bids against a bidder's maximum bid, and the reserve price of the auction has been met, that bidder will win the auction at the monetary point bidding for that auction has ended.
In case of two or more absentee bidder's entering the same "Maximum Bid", the bidder who bid first will be first to enter his or her bid, and all other bidders must bid against the first bidder until one maximum bid remains. Priority is given to the bidder who places the highest bid, and when two or more people make the same highest bid, priority is then given to the bidder who first made the bid.

To attend the Live Auction event in San Diego, CA, you may pre-register for any or all of the four (4) live bidding sessions by clicking here. In doing so, you will also be able to place bids at premiercollect.com until July 18, 2008 2PM CST.
Once pre-registered for any of the live auction bidding sessions, please arrange to visit the PCA Registration Booth at The Bristol Hotel before attending your first auction session. PCA will provide you with important bidding materials and information.

Telephone Bidding
If you are unable to attend the live auction event, it is possible to still bid live by telephone. We stronly encourage bidders who plan to participate live over the telephone to register with PCA by July 18, 2008. To register for live phone bidding, please contact PCA by July 18, 2008 or register online. Registration will be made available online by June 15, 2008.
Once arrangements have been made with Premier Collectible Auctions in advance of the live auction event, PCA staff will execute telephone bids on behalf of absentee bidders from designated areas within the auction salesroom. Please note that a PCA associate will contact you well in advance of the live auction to schedule a telephone call with you during the live auction so you are ready to bid on the auctions you are interested in.
